The Círculo de Bellas Artes rooftop is one of Madrid’s crown jewels when it comes to rooftops. It is a very popular spot where people of all ages gather to enjoy the 360º views it offers of Madrid. The rooftop allows the viewer to see as far as the mountain range of Guadarrama on the North and Cerro de los Ángeles in the South.
For those of you who want to enjoy the views in a more relaxed way and with a bit more in your stomach you have the “Tartan Roof” where you can have drinks or go for breakfast, brunch, tapas and other more elaborated dishes.
The rooftop is open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00-02:00, on Fridays from 9:00-02:30, on Saturdays from 11:00 to 02:30 and Sundays and bank holidays till 02:00. There is a 4€ fee to go up to the roof, but the views are well worth this small payment.
One of the best things of this hot spot is its location as it’s in Madrid’s city centre, more exactly, calle Alcalá 42. The perfect location whilst on a stroll around the capital or strategic pit stop from an intensive shopping spree.
