The Emperador Hotel joins the extensive list of hotels located on Gran Vía in Madrid. However, there is something that differentiates this hotel from the rest, and is its large roof terrace (800M²) located on the top floor of the Lope de Vega building.
Composed of a terrace, garden and solarium, it offers stunning views of the city of Madrid: the Royal Palace, the Cathedral of Almudena, the incessant traffic of the Gran Vía and the calm of the Parque del Oeste where the Templo de Debod sits…
From May 1st you can begin to take the first dip in the pool (from 10:00h to 9:00h), perfect time to try out their new cocktails and nibble on some snacks with the best company. In addition, this terrace is open to both clients staying at the hotel and those outsiders who wish to enjoy a unique and relaxed day in the heart of Madrid. With friends, with your partner, an after work or alone, any excuse is good to disconnect from the sizzling summer of Madrid.
Additionally, all those who are not guests of the hotel, will have to pay an entrance, which includes full access to swimming pool, hammock, towels and welcome drink, to choose between Aperol Spritz or champagne.
Even the smallest detail has been studied to turn the roof garden into an urban beach club. Decorated with hammocks, chill-out areas with Balinese beds, cocktail bar… the roof garden allows you to escape from the bustle of the capital, without leaving the entire downtown area.
Even though the pool does not open all year round, the terrace does. And, throughout the year, the terrace has fully heated and conditioned areas for when it’s cold and rains, so it does not matter what time of year it is to go up to the 10th floor of the Hotel Emperador and enjoy its spectacular Sky Bar.
In addition, to access this terrace, the entrance is totally free and opens from Wednesday to Sunday from 19:00h to 01:00h.
